Sunset Cinema presented by Peroni offers a completely different experience to an indoor cinema. Instead of arriving right before the film starts into a dark and cold cinema, we encourage you to arrive to Sunset Cinema early (gates open at 5pm). Catch up with friends and enjoy the pre-film ambience with a drink in one hand and a bite to eat in the other. Our DJ and instrumentalists will be spreading the summer love from 5pm-7:30pm as the sun sets, before the feature film begins at dusk (7:30pm).
Sunset Cinema presented by Peroni will be Singapore’s first silent cinema event. The DJ will be playing over the normal speakers from 5pm-7:30pm. For the feature film itself, the audio will be broadcast via our state of the art wireless headphones which every customer will be issued upon entry. These noise cancelling headphones will enable you to immerse yourself in the film and allow you to control your own volume. Say goodbye to that annoying person talking during the film.
Italy’s emergence as a global style icon in the 60s was partly driven by the influence of cinema in the Italian culture. Upholding its Italian heritage and aspiring to bring style to the world of beer, Peroni Nastro Azzurro invites the Sunset Cinema audience to enjoy an evening of delicious aperitivo, award winning films and refreshing Peroni.
Tuck into a coastal cuisine freshly prepared by event partner Tanjong Beach Club. Indulge in a meal of Freshly Shucked Oysters ($4/pc), Lobster Bun ($25) of Maine lobster, avocado and wasabi mayonnaise, or their signature Tanjong Burger ($20) made with angus beef, melted emmental, honey mustard and homemade bun. If you're looking for a classic cinema snack, Salted Caramel Popcorn ($5) will be served at the food station too.
120 Tanjong Beach Walk, Sentosa
Tanjong Beach is arguably Singapore’s most beautiful beach. With a palm tree-lined fringe that drops into the ocean, this is the perfect place to sit back in your deck chair and soak in a tropical sunset and award winning film.
At the end of the film, there will be a fleet of large complimentary shuttle buses departing continuously between 9:15pm-10:30pm from the large roundabout at FOC (3min walk from Tanjong Beach). Passengers will alight at HarbourFront MRT (Vivo City).
