Since we started selling tickets in February, the COVID-19 situation has unfortunately deteriorated.
After a thorough risk assessment on the potential impact of COVID-19 and in conjunction with the prevailing government advisories, it’s with great disappointment that we must cancel the 2020 edition of Peroni Sunset Cinema.
We appreciate that this is disappointing news for you and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. The wellbeing of our audience and staff are our top priority and we take comfort in keeping you safe.
If there’s another upside to an early cancellation, it’s that our losses will be limited, hopefully enabling Peroni Sunset Cinema to survive and thrive in future years.
So, what are the options for Peroni Cinema Sunset ticketholders? As promised, you are entitled to a refund if you choose. Alternatively, if you’re the type of person who values an amazing experience over a small increase in your bank balance – we have another option for you!
You were probably super excited to be seeing your film of choice on the big screen, so we’ll be including the same films in the programme at our next open-air cinema event, Films At The Fort, scheduled for August 2020 at Fort Canning Park.
If you transfer your tickets to Films At The Fort, you’ll still be able watch your chosen film in a beautiful open-air setting – and we’ll throw in a $15 voucher (per order) to put towards a bottle of wine at the event.
This is a great way to guarantee your tickets for Films At The Fort, where tickets to popular films sell out. If Films At The Fort gets cancelled due to COVID-19, then your tickets will be refunded.

- Transfer your Peroni Sunset Cinema tickets to watch the same film at Films At The Fort (and receive $15 voucher towards a bottle of wine at Films At The Fort). Request transfer here.
- Refund. Refunds will take up to 30 days to be processed. Request refund here.
